Yooo another Busan content but this time bout a temple named Haedong Yonggungsa haha Went there (Busan) again to spend time with a friend from Seoul and Busan is a big city, so my previous stay there is not enough. (Hi Mirah! If you are reading this.) As soon as we arrived at Busan station, we went straight to Haedong Yonggungsa. Walk a few minutes from the bus stop, there is the most beautiful temple in Korea, it claimed.
Hmmm I never been to all the temples in Korea to agree or disagree to that statement but the concept of it being on a cliff, facing the sea is indeed different. A good different because most temple is somewhere up there in the mountain this one as an example. Imagine going there during the sunset.
When I Google this place, I kind of happy (??) because I thought there will be no hiking and it is but not entirely “no hiking”, just lesser than any other temple I went to haha.
This is surely a tourist attraction; the number of visitors is insane. If you think the number will go down, you are wrong. Which depleted my mood a little bit because have to be fast at any stop. So, I can’t really enjoy the whole thing and the pictures I took are somehow forcefully fast.
Other than temple itself, it has souvenir shop street which of course will sell everything a little bit overpriced since it is a tourist attraction. This place is recommended despite how pack it is on daily basis.
